Rebecca Levitan - Rebecca worked side-by-side with her husband Howard during their tenure as Innkeepers on the Coast of Maine for almost ten years. Prior to Innkeeping, she was a marketing and sales representative for a major Fortune 500 company in the Boston area. She continues her working relationship with Howard and is now in charge of all marketing-related functions. She travels extensively with Howard and is completely integrated into all consulting done on a national basis for the hospitality industry. She enjoys sharing her first-hand knowledge of Inn operations with future and current Innkeepers. The details of Innkeeping have always been of importance to her, everything from management of staff to making the Inn reflect the personality of its owners. Howard Levitan - Howard's true passions lie within the fine tuning of Inn operations, Inn Valuations, and Feasibility Studies. He travels extensively and provides great insight to the Hospitality Industry on a national level. It is his goal to assist future and current Innkeepers in all phases of their careers whether it is establishing an Inn's value, conversion of a property into an Inn, improving Inn operations and profitability of an Inn's business. He brings a thorough knowledge of the nuts and bolts of Innkeeping through almost ten years as the owner and hands-on Innkeeper of a full service Inn on the Coast of Maine and his consulting background. Prior to Innkeeping, Howard practiced Real Estate Law for twenty-five years. A majority of his time was as a partner at a major law firm in Boston, handling real estate transactions. E-Mail Howard
Kim Averill-Demeny - Kim has been working within the hospitality industry and with Howard and Rebecca since 1996. She started at a young age and has worked every position from housekeeping, tending bar, waitress, and dining room manager. Upon completion of her college degree, she worked at a full service Inn as the Assistant Innkeeper. She is multi-talented and her main responsibility is marketing and web management.
